A group of employees signed on to a letter claiming that several allegations of sexual harassment by Dees had been ignored or covered up over the years and that staff members who reported mistreatment faced retaliation.

Tatro said the attorneys gave her less substantive work than other interns.

At one point early in the summer, Tatro said, Owens told her that Elissa Johnson, a senior staff attorney and the internship coordinator, did not like her and he was the only reason she was there.
